Join us in shaping the future of recommerce, where sustainability and technology come together to create real-world impact.\n About the Role\nThe Associate, Operations Automation owns the automation, data and AI tooling that keeps Carousell Luxury's day-to-day operations running: marketing data pipelines and the marketing spend and ROI dashboard, TikTok Live and Instagram automation, pricing tools and competitor intelligence, internal tools for merchandisers, our Shopify storefronts, weekly business review (WBR) reporting pulled directly from Postgres, and troubleshooting of order processing and payments issues.\nThis is a hands-on technical role: you'll write scripts and queries, build and maintain internal dashboards and tools, and work directly with production data sources and APIs, not just low-code/no-code automation.\nKey Responsibilities\nBuild and maintain data pipelines from Meta, Google, Instagram and Shopify into our shared database, and run the marketing spend/ROI dashboard, order attribution and customer LTV views\n\nBuild and maintain live commerce and social automation: TikTok Live to Shopify sync (orders, refunds, relisting sold items) and automated Instagram posting\n\nBuild and run pricing tools for merchandisers, including competitor intelligence , and AI-assisted attribute detection; support authentication workflows\n\nDevelop and support internal tools and maintain our Shopify storefronts (Carousell Luxury and Luxury Lexicon): collections, templates, emails and bug fixes\n\nPull, query and model data directly from Postgres to produce WBR (and related MBR/QBR) reports and performance metrics for leadership\n\nTroubleshoot order processing. Act as backup for the Operations Automation lead, covering internal admin tools, POS and payments issues during leave\n\nAnalyse current business processes to identify automation opportunities, proposing solutions that improve efficiency and reduce cost\n\nPartner with IT, Operations, Customer Support and Finance to integrate and deploy automation and reporting solutions\n\nMonitor and maintain automated systems and internal tools, addressing issues and ensuring reliability and performance\n\nCreate and maintain comprehensive documentation for automated processes and generate reports on automation performance and metrics for the management team\n\n You Have\nAt least a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, business, or a related field\n\nWorking proficiency in Python and SQL (Postgres), and strong Excel/Gsheet skills\n\nExperience building or maintaining automations, internal tools or dashboards in a business operations context\n\nAbility to learn fast and work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment\n\nAbility to multi-task and work to standard operating procedures\n\nStrong ownership and commitment to high-quality, reliable work\n\nA positive, can-do attitude and good problem-solving skills\n\nShopify experience is a plus\n\nComfortable coworking with AI tools (e.g. Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT) to speed up scripting, data analysis and troubleshooting\n\nNice to Have\nTechnical Skills\nExperience with scripting/automation beyond low-code tools (e.g. Python, scheduled jobs, APIs)\n\nFamiliarity with direct database access and querying (Postgres or similar)\n\nBasic understanding of payments or e-commerce checkout flows\n\nKnowledge of basic IT infrastructure and systems\n\nAnalytical Skills\nAbility to troubleshoot automation and data pipeline issues independently\n\nUnderstanding of process mapping and improvement\n\nCommunication and Collaboration\nEffective communication with cross-functional stakeholders\n\nComfortable working with some supervision while building domain knowledge\n\nProfessional Development\nEagerness to learn and upgrade skills\n\nParticipation in relevant training and workshops\n\n By proceeding with your application, you are adhering to our PDPA policies.
