Building on its history of innovation, Carpenter Technology’s wrought and powder technology capabilities support a range of next-generation products and manufacturing techniques, including novel magnetic materials and additive manufacturing.\nPosition Title: Data Management Analyst II\nJob Summary\nThe Data Management Analyst II is responsible for analyzing, reviewing, and processing enterprise master data creation and change requests in accordance with customer requirements, Carpenter process capabilities, customer and industry specifications, and global data governance standards. This position maintains the quality, accuracy, and integrity of master data across SAO and PEP organizations while ensuring compliance with service level agreements, SOX, and ITAR requirements. The Data Management Analyst II utilizes SAP S/4 Hana and Fiori Governance Tools to create and maintain customer, vendor, material, grade, and service master data, supports operational excellence initiatives, collaborates with cross-functional business partners, and contributes to process improvements that support business operations and customer satisfaction.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nAnalyze, review, and process enterprise master data creation and change requests in accordance with global governance standards and customer requirements.\nCreate and maintain Customer, Vendor, Material, Grade, and Service Master records using SAP S/4 Hana and Fiori Governance Tool applications.\nMaintain the accuracy, quality, integrity, and effectiveness of enterprise master data.\nManage and process master data requests while coordinating activities with stakeholders across multiple business functions.\nUnderstand and evaluate the impact of master data changes on Production, Planning, Finance, Purchasing, Quality, Commercial, EH&S, Marketing, Technical, and other business areas.\nAdhere to global SAO and PEP processes, procedures, and service level agreements.\nEnsure compliance with SOX, ITAR, and corporate data governance requirements.\nBuild effective working relationships across Carpenter businesses, including local data stewards and business partners.\nParticipate in daily problem-solving activities and support Operational Excellence initiatives.\nAssist with internal and external audits, investigations, and compliance reviews.\nPerform data loads, data validations, and resolve defects or data integrity issues.\nPerform all other duties and special projects as assigned.\nAdditional Requirements\nHigh School Diploma required; Associate Degree preferred.\nTwo (2) to five (5) years of related experience required.\nMinimum two years of experience in Customer Service, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Sales, Laboratory, Technical, or related business environments.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, SharePoint, SAP, and other enterprise systems.\nWorking knowledge of SAP master data management processes and data governance practices.\nStrong understanding of customer, vendor, material, grade, and service master data structures.\nAbility to maintain data accuracy, integrity, and compliance within a global business environment.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including technical writing capabilities.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.\nAbility to establish productive relationships across multiple functional areas of the business.\nAbility to investigate issues, identify root causes, and recommend effective solutions.\nExperience participating on cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues.\nAbility to consistently perform in a fast-paced, demanding, and changing environment.\nExpertise in one to four functional skill areas with a willingness to continue development in additional data management disciplines.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities while meeting service level agreements and departmental objectives.\nCommitment to Operational Excellence, continuous improvement, data quality, and customer service.\nCarpenter Technology Company offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package including life, medical, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, disability coverage, 401k with company contributions as well as many other options to employees.\nCarpenter Technology Corporation’s policy is to fully and effectively maintain a program of equal employment opportunity and nondiscrimination for all employees, to employ affirmative action for all protected classes, and to recruit and develop the best qualified persons available regardless of age, race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, national origin, political affiliation or any other characteristic protected by law.
