They are responsible for ensuring that non-emergency maintenance activities are planned, by ensuring that all resources, including, but not limited to, detailed operations, material and spare parts, external labor resources, drawings, manuals and lock out procedures, are identified and made available to the execution team, prior to the job being scheduled. They will coordinate with associated Maintenance Coordinator, Engineering, external vendors and contractors, warehouse personnel, procurement personnel and Production Personnel, to ensure that all required resources are available prior to execution, thus enabling work to be executed in a safe, reliable, cost-effective manner, and in alignment with established work management processes.\nRequirements\n5 years’ experience as qualified craft personnel (Mechanical Discipline) in a heavy industrial environment, preferably in steel, metal, or manufacturing industries. \nStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. \nExcellent technical and operational knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment and systems.\nDevelop formal Knowledge and gain certification in Shutdown Planning.\nDevelop formal Maintenance Planning knowledge and gain certification in Maintenance Planning and Scheduling.\nKnowledgeable in TPM/LEAN preferred. \nStrong continuous improvement and project/program management skills. \nProactive problem-solving skills with the ability to recommend and implement solutions. \nAbility to read and interpret electrical circuitry diagrams and drawings preferred. \nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals. \nAbility to operate independently, to multi-task, and to prioritize quickly. \nExcellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
