Dynamet is a member of Carpenter’s Performance Engineered Products division and maintains a second manufacturing facility in western Florida.\nPRIMARY DUTIES:\nInspect, test, adjust and maintain electrical devices, apparatus and circuits.\nTroubleshoots job at the machine by observing machine operation and interacting with operations leadership and employees.\nExperience with basic fabrications.\nPlans repair procedure by analyzing site conditions, blueprints, sketches, and other available information.\nAbility to use mobile equipment as needed (cranes, forklift, scissor lift, etc.).\nAbility to perform electricalwork along with minor mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and crane/rigging needs.\nProvides direct support in multiple areas of the facility.\nSupport production needs and be proactive in preventive maintenance.\nInspecting, testing, calibrating, installing, fabricating, constructing, adjusting, lubricating, maintaining, dismantling and cleaning all mechanical equipment.\nPerforms preventative maintenance on equipment by inspecting defects such as misalignments, wear, improper lubrication, etc.\nAbility to use maintenance systems for researching and ordering parts.\nProvide technical assistance to engineering in the design, repair, or improvement of equipment.\nLocate sources of problems by troubleshooting mechanical and electrical devices in operation.\nControl downtime by performing routine preventative maintenance requirements, daily inspections and monitoring of machines.\nSafely performs assigned tasks competently and efficiently.\nMaintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.\nProvide technical assistance to engineering in the design, repair, or improvement of equipment.\nMust be able to meet safety requirements including ANSI fall protection expectations.\nResponsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and process flow diagrams as needed to perform tasks.\nThis position involves shift rotations \nPerforms other duties as needed.\nREQUIREMENTS:\nMust have graduated from accredited school in electrical maintenance.\nAt least 4 years experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting (including relevant military training) or equivalent education in a related field.\nAn Associate degree in Electrical Technology and/or graduation from an acceptable Technical Training Institution in an electrical or electronic systems program is preferred.\nMinimum of one - three years industrial electrical maintenance experience in the past ten years, preferred\nThe ability to read blueprints, operate vehicles, work from heights, and work in various environmental conditions is required.\nA working knowledge of programmable controllers, personal computers, AC and DC drive systems, control and measuring devices (i.e. limit switches, proximity switches, etc.) hydraulic systems and test equipment is preferred.\nCarpenter Technology Company offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package including life, medical, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, disability coverage, 401k with company contributions as well as many other options to employees.
