Hi, I’m Nick, looking for a Summer 2027 Technical Writing Intern. Who Am I? I am passionate about providing the mill with the proper training and learning tools for each employee to succeed in their role. I challenge my team to find continuous improvement opportunities to advance training, quality, and safety in the mill. What Do We Do? Business Unit: Technical Skills Training The Technical Skills Department provides significant value to the business through training, quality support, and safety initiatives. We develop, distribute, and facilitate training programs for employees across Carpenter. We support the Quality Department by creating and maintaining documentation and assisting with mill audits. Additionally, we partner with the Safety Department to ensure employees are trained on company policies, standards, and regulatory requirements. Ongoing Projects Creating and editing documents (SOPs, SSWPs, TIs, DGs,etc). Learning systems (mainframe, lotus notes, sharepoint, etc). Understanding processes and flow paths in the mill.
