This role is an Entry-level Project management position that works closely with Project Managers, Field Supervisors, and other members of the operations team to help ensure BAS projects are delivered on time, under budget, and with a high level of customer satisfaction.\nThe APM role combines project coordination responsibilities with branch operational support, making it an excellent opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented professional looking to build a career in project management and operations.\nKey Responsibilities\nAssist with managing projects following project processes and where applicable provide direction to assisting Project Engineers.\nAssist with completing projects per the contractual requirements within budget, on-time and with a high level of customer satisfaction.\nHelp with the overall financial performance of assigned projects including project planning, billing, revenue forecasting, A/R collections and re-estimating costs of installation projects.\nAssist with managing the delivery of the contracted scope and secure change orders for the expansion of scope.\nCoordinate project materials and the use of shared resources; identify resource constraints, and assist with corrective action plans to remedy any issues.\nHelp manage relationships with sub-contractors, identifying issues, and take corrective action plans to remedy any issues.\nTrack material deliveries and support project logistics.\nProcess and manage RMAs (Return Material Authorizations).\nCoordinate shipping and receiving activities for the branch.\nMaintain project records, closeout documentation, and compliance files.\nAssist with vendor, subcontractor, and customer communications.\nSupport branch operations through process improvement and administrative coordination.\nBasic Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED \n2+ years of experience in HVAC, Construction or Building Automation and Controls\n1+ years of experience with the Microsoft Office Suite\nClean and valid driver’s license\nPreferred Qualifications\nOther qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:\nBachelor’s Degree from a recognized college or university in building HVAC with a focus on building automation controls (3- or 4-year program)\nAbility to lead and motivate teams\nStrong problem solving, planning and project management skills\nAbility to read and understand scope of work\nExceptional written and verbal communication skills\nGeneral knowledge of employment laws and practices\nDemonstrated knowledge of project financial reporting\nPrevious field experience with commissioning of DDC Systems and/or hands-on experience in the field of deploying or commissions\nPrior experience in Construction, HVAC and/or Building Automation preferred \nExperience in dealing with a number of simultaneous challenges, requiring knowledge of many different disciplines\nPay Range\nThe annual salary for this position is between $53,000.00 - $106,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate. The pay range will not be below the minimum wage applicable to the jurisdiction in which the applicant is to be employed.Other Compensation\nThis position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
