For more information, visit corporate.carrier.com or follow on Carrier social media at @Carrier.\nRole Responsibilities:\nSupport the design of platform, mobile, and connected product experiences that solve real customer problems and improve usability.\nCreate wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools such as Figma while adhering to established design systems and standards.\nParticipate in user research activities including interviews, usability testing, surveys, and observation sessions to better understand customer needs and behaviors.\nTranslate research findings, customer feedback, and product requirements into intuitive and accessible user experiences.\nCollaborate closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and other designers throughout the product development lifecycle to deliver customer-centered solutions.\nContribute to the continuous improvement of design systems, reusable components, interaction patterns, and UX best practices.\nIterate designs based on user feedback, stakeholder input, data insights, and technical considerations.\nHelp document design decisions, interaction specifications, and user experience guidelines to support development and consistent implementation.\nAssist in journey mapping, information architecture, and workflow design for complex digital solutions and operational environments.\nRole Purpose:\nDesign products that have real-world impact. Partner with product managers, engineers, data scientists, researchers, and business leaders to influence digital products used around the world.\nMinimum Requirements:\nBachelor's degree in User Experience (UX) Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Product Design, Customer Experience (CX), or Information Architecture\n2+ years of experience designing digital products, applications, websites, software platforms, or customer experiences through academic, internship, contract, or professional work.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience designing SaaS, enterprise software, connected device, IoT, transportation, logistics, supply chain, healthcare, or life sciences solutions.\nExposure to customer research methods such as interviews, usability testing, surveys, or journey mapping.\nFamiliarity with analytics, dashboards, operational workflows, or data-driven decision-support tools.\nExperience working within established design systems and contributing reusable components and interaction patterns.\nInterest in emerging technologies including AI-enabled products, predictive analytics, and connected digital ecosystems\nDemonstrated ability to create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and visual designs using industry-standard tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar design platforms.\nBasic understanding of user-centered design principles, usability testing, accessibility standards, and design thinking methodologies.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with product managers, engineers, researchers, and business stakeholders.\nPay Range\nThe annual salary for this position is between $64,500.00 - $129,500.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate. The pay range will not be below the minimum wage applicable to the jurisdiction in which the applicant is to be employed.Other Compensation\nThis position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
