We recognize diversity and inclusion as the engine to growth and innovation, and continue to lead because we have an exceptional workforce that puts the client at the centre of everything.\nWe're currently seeking an additional Chiller Engineer to join our growing Rental team, supporting the preparation, installation, commissioning, and ongoing operation of temporary cooling and heating solutions for our customers.\nThe successful candidate will deliver safe, reliable, and customer-focused rental solutions, including temporary chiller plant, ancillary equipment, and associated systems. The role will ensure equipment is installed, commissioned, maintained, and recovered to the highest standard.\nRole Responsibilities:\nPrepare, install, commission, maintain, and decommission temporary rental equipment, including chillers, pumps, hoses, heat exchangers, and associated ancillaries.\nSupport the delivery of rental projects from initial site attendance through to equipment handover, ensuring the installation is safe, practical, and fit for customer requirements.\nCarry out site surveys, identify suitable equipment requirements, and work with the Rental Operations team to ensure the correct solution is delivered.\nTroubleshoot and support operational issues on rental equipment, both on-site and remotely, to minimise customer downtime.\nCommission temporary systems and advise on wider site connections, flow, power, controls, and operational considerations beyond the equipment supply.\nAttend customer sites and meetings with minimal supervision, providing clear updates on rental works, safety requirements, progress, and next steps.\nRead and interpret technical documents such as wiring diagrams, P&ID drawings, flow schematics, and site-specific method statements.\nQualification and Experience Requirements:\nExperience within a similar rental, HVAC, chiller, or temporary plant environment, ideally involving large industrial water chillers.\nQualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.\nFull UK Driving Licence (or equivalent).\nCity & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Safe Handling of Refrigerants.\nF-Gas qualified (Category 1).\nTechnical competence is required, with relevant experience of Carrier and/or other manufacturers’ chiller, HVAC, or temporary rental equipment.\nExperience working safely on customer sites, including temporary installations, plant rooms, external compounds, and live operational environments.\nWhat we offer\nCompetitive salary package (Negotiable DOE)\n\nFully equipped van\n\nEnhanced on-call payments\n\nOvertime\n\n25 Days Holiday plus bank holidays\n\nHoliday purchase scheme\n\nCompany Pension\n\nCareer progression - we love to build and nurture talent from within; therefore, we’ll work with you to achieve your long-term career aspirations.\n\nWork on industry-leading equipment and use state-of-the-art tools.\n\nPay Range\nThe annual base salary for this position is between £44,128 - £49,706.\nFactors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.\nOther Compensation\nThis position is entitled to call-out payments and overtime.\nBenefits\nWe offer a competitive total rewards package that may include other benefits and well-being programs.
