But our service technicians just say they are really good at what they do.\nIt takes Carrier, It takes you.\nWhat you’ll do\nAs a Commercial HVAC Service Technician, you understand the importance of providing expert and quality service. We are looking for an individual who has: \nInspect and maintain air-conditioning and HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation \nDiagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical malfunctions in heating and cooling units \nInstall, replace, and calibrate HVAC equipment, including thermostatic controls and liquid lines \nService refrigeration equipment including refrigerators, ice machines, gas packs, and heat pumps \nMaintain chilled and hot water supply systems and adjust internal control systems \nAssemble and install metal ductwork and assist in HVAC system planning and design \nEnsure compliance with City, State, and EPA regulations by maintaining detailed maintenance records \nIdentify and mitigate risks to maintain a safe working environment \nCollaborate with management to support safety and operational standards \nRequired Qualifications\nAs a Commercial HVAC Journeyman Service Technician, you understand the importance of providing expert service and quality. We are looking for an individual who has:\n5+ years practical working experience in the HVAC Industry \nAbility to Push / Pull / Lift 50lbs \nEPA Universal Certification\nMust be able to stand, crawl, sit, squat of extended period of time, climb a ladder, and the ability to work on rooftop \nHigh School Diploma/GED \nPossess and maintains valid and current Driver’s License and be insurable by the company’s insurance carrier \nPreferred Qualifications\nOther experience and qualities you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:\nBasic understanding of building automation controls \nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal \nExperience using Salesforce and ServiceMax is a plus \nWhat You’ll Gain\nOpportunity for 401k \nPaid travel time after the first hour and on-call schedule for better work-life balance (rotations every 7-8 weeks in most locations) \nCompany provided vehicles with gas cards \nAll necessary tools provided \nKey Safety and PPE Benefits include: \nComprehensive Protection: Steel-toed boots, Carrier-branded uniforms with FR protection, HVAC gloves, hard hats, and face shields \nEnhanced Eye Safety: Standard safety goggles provided, with an option for prescription eyewear if needed \nAdvanced Safety Support: Fall protection provided where required, plus respirators and earplugs as needed \nYou will have autonomy to execute, backed by the camaraderie, continuous support, and resources of a dedicated team within a large, world-renowned company \nBenefits\nBenefits are provided under applicable union agreements and generally include medical insurance, retirement, tuition reimbursement, vacation, holidays, and other time off.
