Manages the daily coordination of projects including preparing and maintaining budgets and staffing requirements, and is responsible for estimating project costs, gathering and analyzing data, preparing progress reports, coordinating project tasks with various functional organizations, and identifying project problems.\nKey Responsibilities\nAdvanced knowledge with BAS systems, Carrier i-Vu knowledge is a plus\n\nRequires an individual with an advanced skillset in BAS / controls programming\n\nProgramming of controls systems and implementing developed Sequence of Operations\n\nComplete each assigned project focusing on customer satisfaction and specification compliance while maintaining budgetary guidelines\n\nPartner with sales function to set parameters for equipment needs and project timeline\n\nCreate submittals, read and understand project specifications and MEP drawing sets, controls and shop drawings\n\nDocument and track project completion with as-builts and final program notation with all field changes in collaboration with our Project Manager\n\nAssemble Operation & Maintenance Manuals for completed projects.\n\nUtilize company and as required customer standard programs for designing graphic function blocks for assigned projects\n\nTest project programs to ensure specified sequences of operation are met and performed accordingly to industry standards\n\nInspect HVAC system including point-to-point, determining the proper operating ranges for field devices, as well as complete functional system checkouts\n\nConduct graphics engineering functions which include creating equipment and floor plan graphics per project documents\n\nSubmit material orders for project- required materials to the purchasing group.\n\nJob requires some fieldwork with controllers and associated components alongside our Controls Field Engineers\n\nAssist in the development of functional checkpoints lists for commissioning and additional documentation requirements to commission the system or work with the Commissioning Agent\n\nIncentive compensation eligible\n\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED.\n\n2+ years of experience in Project Engineering/Management\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nKnowledge of computers, setup procedures, and networking systems\n\nPrevious experience in AutoCAD and Bluebeam\n\nWorking experience with Carrier i-Vu, Tridium or BACnet systems\n\nProficient with Microsoft Suite\n\nExcellent written and verbal communications skills\n\nKnowledge in DDC control theory and applications pertaining to the HVAC/Control\n\nPrior experience in HVAC and/or Building Automation\n\nPay Range\nThe annual salary for this position is between $64,500.00 - $129,500.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
