Working with the rest of the engineering organization, product managers, this leader will drive product solutions that enable a strategic, customer-centric product portfolio that is optimized across regions.\nThis leader will work closely with customers and industry partners to support the growth in this fast-paced segment where changes are expected.\nEstablishes the key priorities in workflow processes and oversees the execution of resource allocations to ensure optimization of strategy and implementation.\nAt the beginning this position will not have direct reports but may lead teams to a matrix organization.\nRole Responsibilities:\nCollect and analyze emerging trends in Data Center build and operation. \nAssess customer needs (hyperscalers, colos, others) and understand the technical solutions from competition. \nUnderstand elements of product / system differentiation combining HVAC equipment and controls. Analyze trade-offs. \nTranslate needs into a strategy for products and solutions offering. \nDefine the solution architecture and derive system level requirements. \nBreakdown system technical requirements into sub-system technical requirements. \nDrive enterprise level design synergies through the development of global platforms and solutions. \nCollaborate effectively with customers, product management, and various global stakeholders to align technical requirements and create a scalable, cost-efficient solution.\nFoster strong relationships with stakeholders across the business to ensure alignment and successful implementation of Data Center projects. \nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in an Engineering Discipline\n10+ years of systems engineering experience\n8+ years of industry experience working with Data Center customers on cooling system solutions\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMasters in an Engineering or Industrial field such as Systems Engineering. \nFamiliarity with industrial business models for HVAC, preferably in a Data Center business environment. \nProven track record of building trusted relationships cross-functionally and managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on solutions/initiatives and ability to make decisions with conviction. \nAbility to solve complex problems using and finding alternate paths to achieve objectives in a highly constrained and fast-paced environment.\nPay Range\nThe annual salary for this position is between $174,500.00 - $348,500.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
