For more information, visit corporate.carrier.com or follow Carrier on social media at @Carrier.\nAbout the role\nThe Supply Chain Support Manager is responsible for working across supply chain functional areas (procurement, inventory, third-party logistics, Material planning etc.) to identify and deliver process and efficiency improvements.\nForecasting, PO creation, Scheduling, tracking of shipments for daily/monthly plan fulfilment.\nMeeting Supply Chain KPI's- Line fulfillment, Plan fulfilment, inventory control, E&O, SOTD, SPPM etc.\nKey Responsibilities:\nAs a Supply Chain role, you’ll be responsible for:\nManage supplies and vendors\nHands on experience of daily line fulfillment.\nExposure of material procurement for make to order and make to stock products\nExperience in inventory management\nAbility to foresee supplier’s risk and manage the same\nDrive initiatives on Cx/Lean Manufacturing / ISO 9001:2015/ISO14000.\nAbility to execute engineering changes and new product launches by ensuring timely transitions of inventories.\nAbility to monitor supplier’s performance to meet quality and delivery requirements.\nAbility to resolve cross functional issues with PPC, Mfg., Store, Strategic Sourcing, SSC, Quality, logistic & Engg etc\nAssessment of supplier capacity and ability to manage demand variation\nAbility of first level analysis of old stock/E & O stock and liquidation of same\nMake material Planning & requirement, scheduling, PO release and tracking material\nMisc. tasks - MIS preparation, ORP and presentations etc.\nRequirements\nAs a minimum you must have:\nMechanical Engineer/Diploma with 8~9 yrs previous experience in SCM\nGood knowledge of ERP systems (SAP etc.)\nInventory Management, Lean, Milk-run, VMI .\nGood working knowledge of MS Excel and Powerpoint\nBenefits\nWe offer a competitive total rewards package that may include other benefits and well-being programs.
