Technology that supports the buildings and industry of today and tomorrow requires a wide range of talents and skill sets.\nScope of Position:\nAs an Associate Field Engineer, you will be crucial to Automated Logic (ALC) business through the field commissioning of building automation systems created specifically for each individual customer. We are looking for a team member who is self-motivated, detail oriented, and is customer focused. This position is your first introduction into the career of a Field Engineer. You will begin to complete assignments using troubleshooting skills, projects will advance in difficulty to develop your skills.\nKey responsibilities:\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nInitiate, install, troubleshoot, and optimize customer systems that utilize advanced Direct Digital Control technology.\nOffer effective solutions for system issues.\nProvide turnkey project delivery on small to mid-level projects.\nResponsible for ensuring that systems operate properly, to include controls, sensors, and software.\nLoad software, configure trends, alarms, and reports.\nImplement time management strategies to ensure customer satisfaction.\nCommunicate and document the status and details of the project for the customer.\nProvide site-specific training to owners/operators on the complete system.\nRequired Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED, or completion of an accredited trade/technical school program\nCapable of climbing ladders or using other lift equipment over 8 feet above grade and capable of lifting items up to 50lbs.\nValid and current Driver’s License with ability to be insurable by the company’s insurance.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree, Associate degree, or Technical School Certificate/Diploma in HVAC, Building Automation Systems (BAS), Controls, or a related field.\nFoundational experience or coursework in Building Automation Systems (BAS), HVAC controls, or installing building automation components.\nExposure to or familiarity with building automation software (such as WebCTRL).\nWorking knowledge of TCP/IP networking, basic communication protocols, and wireless technology.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage individual project details, daily tasks, and field paperwork efficiently.\nExcellent communication skills, including the ability to provide clear daily reports, ask proactively for guidance, and translate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.\nStrong team player with a willingness to learn in a hands-on, mentored environment.\nProficient with Microsoft 365 applications and laptop operations in field environments.\nApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
