Today, we continue to lead because we have a world-class, diverse workforce that puts the customer at the center of everything we do.\nKey Responsibilities\n\nSupport the execution of the global plastics category strategy by delivering spend analysis, market intelligence, technology and supplier mapping, dashboards, and executive-level insights.\nSupport global and regional negotiations through cost models, benchmarks, business cases, and structured negotiation preparation; track contract renewals and compliance.\nIdentify, size, and track cost-reduction, productivity, and metal-to-plastic conversion opportunities; support AOP commitments and savings validation with finance.\nManage plastics category and transformation governance, including meeting cadence, project pipeline, materials, action tracking, and supplier/QBR review preparation.\nPartner with regional sourcing, engineering, quality, manufacturing, and finance teams to support technical validation and consistent execution of the global category strategy across regions.\nRequired Qualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Materials, or Polymer Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field.\n12~15 years of experience in category management, strategic sourcing, supply chain analytics, or related roles.\nExperience supporting global or regional sourcing teams in a matrix organization.\nStrong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExperience in HVAC, engineered plastics, resins, molded or extruded components, or related engineered-component supply bases.\nExposure to metal-to-plastic transformation, value engineering, global negotiations, contract management, or productivity programs.\nExperience working with global stakeholders across APAC, EMEA, and Americas.\nKey Competencies\n\nStrong analytical and commercial mindset\nAttention to detail and structured problem-solving\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment\nClear written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to work independently while supporting senior leaders\nCarrier is An Equal Opportunity/AffirmativeAction Employer.
