For more information, visit corporate.carrier.com or follow on Carrier social media at @Carrier.\nAbout the role\nSupport development of residential HVAC system models and simulations.\nEvaluate product performance, efficiency, controls, and reliability through model-based analysis.\nContribute to new product development by applying engineering and analytical principles.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and execute simulations for residential HVAC products and systems.\nAnalyze test and field data to calibrate and validate engineering models.\nDocument findings and present recommendations to engineering teams.\nBasic Qualifications\nMust be currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Systems, Reliability Engineering, Data Analytics, or any Engineering field.\nMust have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher \nMust be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship \nPreferred Qualifications\nKnowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, controls, statistics, or reliability principles.\nExperience with engineering analysis tools such as Excel, MATLAB, Python, Simulink, or similar software.\nPay Range\nThe annual salary for this position is between $43,500.00 - $87,500.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate. The pay range will not be below the minimum wage applicable to the jurisdiction in which the applicant is to be employed.Other Compensation\nThis position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
