You will play a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance, reducing workplace risks, strengthening our safety culture, and protecting our employees and the environment.\nYou will partner closely with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to drive EHS performance and provide technical leadership for manufacturing operations, including high-risk activities.\nKey Responsibilities\nAs an EHS Manager, you'll be responsible for:\nIdentifying, assessing, preventing, and controlling Environmental, Health & Safety risks associated with plant operations.\nEnsuring compliance with applicable Mexican EHS regulations, STPS requirements, and environmental standards.\nDeveloping and implementing preventive programs and initiatives focused on reducing accidents, incidents, and workplace risks.\nLeading behavior-based safety programs to strengthen safety awareness and promote a proactive safety culture throughout the organization.\nDriving initiatives to improve the efficient use of natural resources and ensuring the proper management and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.\nEnsuring the implementation, compliance, and continuous improvement of the Carrier EHS Management System and corporate EHS standards.\nDeveloping and implementing EHS training programs to strengthen employees' technical safety knowledge and awareness.\nMonitoring EHS performance and key safety indicators, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing corrective and preventive action plans.\nProviding specialized technical leadership and risk management support for high-risk manufacturing operations.\nRequirements\nWe are looking for a strong EHS leader with manufacturing experience, technical expertise, and the ability to influence teams and build a proactive safety culture.\nAs a minimum you must have:\nBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in EHS leadership roles, such as EHS Manager, EHS Leader, or similar positions.\nProven experience working within a manufacturing plant environment.\nStrong knowledge of applicable Mexican STPS regulations and environmental requirements.\nExperience developing and implementing behavior-based safety programs focused on improving safety performance and reducing workplace incidents.\nExperience developing and delivering technical EHS training programs for employees.\nDemonstrated experience leading risk prevention, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nStrong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across different levels of the organization.\nAdvanced English proficiency, with the ability to participate in meetings and collaborate effectively with multicultural and global teams.\nAlthough not necessary, it would be nice if you have:\nMaster's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Sustainability, or a related field.\nExperience providing technical EHS leadership for high-risk manufacturing operations.\nExperience with press operations, die changes, coil feeding, and tooling handling.\nExperience identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with machinery, tooling, and complex manufacturing processes.\nBenefits\nWe offer a competitive total rewards package that may include other benefits and well-being programs.
