We are currently looking for an Embedded Firmware Engineer with high energy, a strong work ethic, and a collaborative mindset.\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to work on:\nTelematics and IoT Projects\nCollecting and processing data from multiple sources and protocols, transmitting it to backend services, and controlling systems based on received data or remote requests.\nProduct Features\nAnalyzing issues and new feature requests, defining requirements, designing and implementing solutions, as well as performing thorough validation and testing.\nFirmware Architecture\nDeveloping reusable drivers and modules applicable to multiple firmware projects, ranging from telematics systems to power electronics control, as well as application-level logic.\nEmbedded Firmware Engineer\nRequired Skills:\nEmbedded C Programming: At least 3 years of experience programming embedded systems in C.\n\nMicrocontrollers: Hands-on experience with microcontrollers (e.g. ARM Cortex-M).\n\nCommunication Protocols: Knowledge of CAN, UART, SPI, I²C, and TCP/IP.\n\nClean and Reusable Code: Ability to write clean, maintainable, and reusable code.\n\nDebugging: Experience debugging using tools such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.\n\nEmbedded Systems: Strong understanding of embedded systems and low-level hardware interfaces.\n\nProblem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nMultidisciplinary Work: Comfortable collaborating in teams spanning hardware and software.\n\nNice to Have:\nComfortable using CLI tools for development and debugging.\n\nModular Architecture: Experience designing modular architectures in embedded systems.\n\nPower Electronics: Basic knowledge of power electronics and energy management systems.\n\nAutomation and Testing: Ability to write automation and test scripts, preferably in Python.\n\nSecurity: Knowledge of best security practices in embedded systems.\n\nPCB Design: Basic experience or understanding of PCB design and layout tools.\n\nValues and Other Qualifications\nAlignment with Addvolt values: Transparency, agility, and trust.\n\nClear and transparent communication: Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n\nAgile Mindset: Basic understanding of Agile principles and ways of working.\n\nEnglish: Good command of spoken and written English.\n\nWillingness to travel: Availability for occasional national and international travel.\n\nWhat Do We Offer?\nWe are committed to offering competitive benefits programs for all employees, continuously improving them when needed:\nPermanent full-time contract\n\nCompetitive salary and attractive benefits package\n\nExcellent company culture and work environment\n\nTraining and development opportunities\n\nWhat Will the Selection Process Be Like?\nOur goal is to provide a fair and enriching recruitment process for everyone involved.
