This role ensures the safe, compliant, and efficient movement of finished goods, accessories, and replacement components while meeting customer delivery commitments and operational objectives.\nThe Shipping Manager provides leadership for shipping and logistics supervisors, establishes standard work, drives accountability, and partners with Operations, Planning, Procurement, Customer Service, Transportation, and Quality teams to optimize delivery performance, inventory accuracy, and cost.\nJob Description\nShipping & Logistics Operations\nLead daily shipping operations for finished units, accessories, and replacement components (RCD).\nEnsure on-time shipment execution, dock efficiency, and customer delivery performance.\nOversee transportation planning, carrier performance, shipment tracking, and escalation management.\nDrive compliance with shipping procedures, audits, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.\nLeadership & People Development\nLead, coach, and develop Shipping Supervisors and front-line leaders.\nEstablish clear performance expectations, accountability, and standard work.\nBuild a culture focused on safety, teamwork, customer service, and continuous improvement.\nSupport workforce planning, talent development, and succession planning.\nInventory & Operational Excellence\nOwn inventory accuracy within shipping-controlled locations, staging areas, and yard operations.\nDrive transaction compliance, shipment verification, and discrepancy resolution.\nLead root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality, and delivery performance.\nPartner cross-functionally to remove constraints and improve material flow.\nPerformance Management\nMonitor and improve key performance indicators including:\nSafety Performance\nEmployee Engagement\nOn-Time Delivery (OTD)\nTransportation Provider Performance\nShipping Productivity\nFreight Cost Performance\nPremium Freight Reduction\nShipment Audit Compliance\nInventory Accuracy\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree\n7+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse, manufacturing, or supply chain operations\n3+ years of experience with people leadership in a manufacturing/industrial environment\n3+ years of experience with ERP systems (ie. SAP)\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster’s in supply chain, operations, logistics, business, engineering\nExperience leading shipping/transportation operations in a manufacturing environment.\nExperience working with SAP\nLean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience.\nProven track record improving safety, delivery, quality, and cost performance.\nStrong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nPay Range\nThe annual salary for this position is between $96,000.00 - $192,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
