Together with Carrier, we are accelerating the transition to a more sustainable, efficientand intelligent cold chain.\nYOUR MISSION\nAs QA DevOps Engineer, you will own the quality automation strategy for our software platform, designing, building and maintaining automated test pipelines that catch issues before they reach production, and giving the engineering team fast, reliable feedback on every release.\nDesign, build and maintain automated test suites (functional, integration, regression, API and end-to-end) and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines so quality gates run on every commit and release.\n\nDevelop performance and load testing frameworks to validate new and existing services - measuring API response times/latency, throughput, error rates and behavior under load or stress.\n\nDefine, implement and continuously improve the QA process - test strategy, test plans, coverage tracking, defect management and release quality criteria - bringing structure and repeatability to how the team validates software.\n\nBuild and manage test infrastructure and tooling on AWS (e.g. EC2, ECS, Lambda, CloudWatch, S3), including provisioning ephemeral/test environments as part of the pipeline.\n\nCollaborate closely with software, firmware and DevOps engineers to embed testability into system design, review architecture/requirements from a quality perspective, and identify risk areas early.\n\nMonitor service health and performance in test and production-like environments, setting up dashboards, alerts and synthetic checks to proactively catch degradations (e.g. API delays, failed dependencies).\n\nOwn test data management and environment strategy, ensuring tests are reliable, reproducible and fast enough to run continuously without becoming a bottleneck.\n\nContribute to CI/CD pipeline design (e.g. GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins), helping the team move towards more automated, self-service deployment and testing workflows.\n\nDocument test strategies, tooling and runbooks, and champion a quality-first mindset across the engineering organization.\n\nWHO YOU ARE\nDegree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent hands-on experience).\n\nSolid experience as a QA/Test Automation Engineer, SDET, or Software Engineer with a strong quality/testing focus.\n\nHands-on experience building automated test frameworks and API testing tools.\n\nPractical experience with performance/load testing tools and comfortable interpreting the results (latency, throughput, error rates) to make go/no-go calls.\n\nWorking knowledge of AWS services relevant to testing and automation infrastructure (EC2, ECS/Fargate, Lambda, CloudWatch, S3, IAM); AWS certification is a plus.\n\nExperience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins or similar) and a genuine interest in DevOps practices.\n\nComfortable with scripting/programming (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar) to build and maintain test tooling.\n\nFamiliarity with containers (Docker) and, ideally, orchestration (Kubernetes/ECS); exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation) is a plus.\n\nUnderstanding of monitoring/observability concepts (metrics, logs, traces, alerting) and how they relate to service reliability.\n\nDetail-oriented and process-minded, with a proactive, ownership-driven approach to finding and preventing issues before customers do.\n\nFluent in English (written and spoken);
