The role is part ofPumps & Power division.\nAbout the role:\nWe are looking for a skilled and reliable Service Engineer to repair and maintain diesel-powered equipment (pumps & generators) in both depot and on-site environments. The role requires a strong focus on Health & Safety, with full compliance to regulations and company policies at all times, while maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment to ensure all equipment meets required safety and quality standards and customer operations run without interruption.\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nServicing, maintaining, and repairing pumps, generators, and diesel-powered equipment in both depot- and field-based environments.\nPreparing and inspecting equipment at the depot to ensure it is fully operational before deployment.\nCarrying out major overhauls and refurbishments of end-of-life equipment.\nDiagnosing faults and performing repairs to minimise equipment downtime.\nCollaborating effectively with the service team, hire controller, and foreman to ensure smooth operations.\nEnsuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company policies at all times.\nMaintaining a clean and organised working environment, ensuring all equipment meets safety and quality standards.\nTravelling to customer sites and participating in an on-call rota.\nWhat we are looking for:\nMechanical experience, ideally working with plant equipment, pumps, generators, and diesel engines.\nRelevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3, an M&E related apprenticeship or equivalent.\nFull UK Driving licence or equivalent.\nOur benefits\nBase salary + additional call outs pay\nFully equipped company VAN that can be used to commute to and from work\nA small but friendly and supportive team\n25 days holidays\nPaid sick leave\nPension scheme\nReferral scheme\nLife insurance\nWe are committed to excellence, innovation, and sustainability.
