The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining Carrier eDesign software-based tools for the design and optimization of heating ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in buildings.\nKey Responsibilities:\nAs a Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for:\nDeveloping desktop and web-based software applications for HVAC system design and energy modeling.\nAnalyzing software requirements and design software solutions.\nProducing clean, efficient code that meets software requirements.\nPerforming unit and system testing.\nWorking collaboratively with other developers on development projects.\nMaintaining, troubleshooting, and debug existing software.\nContributing to establishing department guidelines and standards for development of software.\nEvaluating and identifying new libraries, tools, and technologies for use by the software development team, as needed.\nRequirements:\nProficient with desktop software development using C#, .NET.\nProficient with front-end web technologies including JavaScript and ReactJS\nProficient with server-side and back-end technologies including C#, .NET, and Entity Framework.\nUnderstanding of object-oriented design and analysis (OOD and OOA)\nKnowledge of software development and deployment practices on AWS.\nTechnology experience including Microsoft Visual Studio, XML, JSON, WPF, XAML.\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent verbal, writing, and presentation communication skills\nHigh level of verbal and written English language fluency.\nExperience using agentic AI tools for software development\n3+ years of work experience as software engineer preferred but not required.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field of study.\nAbout Carrier\nCarrier Global Corporation, global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, is committed to creating innovations that bring comfort, safety and sustainability to life.
