Interns will contribute to real-world projects using modern technologies such as C#, Java, ReactJS, and cloud platforms while learning industry best practices in software design and development. This position provides a meaningful opportunity to apply academic knowledge, build professional skills, and make a direct impact on business objectives.\nWe are seeking a motivated, results-oriented college student to join our team for the Summer of 2027. The Carrier internship experience offers interns an environment that provides practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work experience, and the opportunity to apply knowledge and demonstrate strengths in efforts to assist Carrier in achieving its business strategy.\nThe candidate’s responsibilities include but are not limited to\nDesigning and developing cloud-based software applications and components using modern programming languages and frameworks\nParticipating in an Agile/Scrum development environment, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives\nAnalyzing software requirements and developing solutions that meet business and technical needs\nPerforming code reviews, requirement analysis, and system risk assessments to ensure software quality and maintainability\nEvaluating and recommending emerging technologies and tools to enhance team productivity and system performance\nContributing to both front-end (ReactJS) and back-end (C#/Java) development efforts, depending on your skills and interests\nBasic Qualifications\nMust be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or any Engineering field.\nMust have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.\nMust be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.\nPreferred Qualifications\nProficiency with C# or Java for backend development\nProficiency with ReactJS and JavaScript for user interface development\nSolid understanding of object-oriented design (OOD) and object-oriented analysis (OOA)\nFamiliarity with software engineering principles, SDLC, and cloud-based architecture\nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills\nSelf-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working in a team-based environment\nPrior internship experience preferred\nPay Range\nThe annual salary for this position is between $43,500.00 - $87,500.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
