Responsible for enhancing commonality and optimization of product and components.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage elements of product development activities including cost estimates, implementation of standard specifications, drawing board layout and interpretation, and development of performance or maintenance requirements.\nExecute test and qualification for systems, sub-systems, and components. Review test results in relation to design or rated specifications and test objectives and modify or adjust equipment to meet specifications.\nEnhance commonality and optimization of product & components.\nTest models of alternate designs and processing methods to assess operating condition effects and necessity of modification.\nProduce parts, specifications, designs, or sketches for machines, components, systems or work orders / purchase requests\nWork with quality clinic and related departments to support the test and verification of field issues.\nRequirements\nAs a minimum you must have :\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Master's degree is considered a plus.\n5 to 7 years of engineering experience in product development, sustaining engineering, value engineering, cost reduction, or manufacturing support within HVAC, refrigeration, or related industries.\nProven track record leading cross-functional engineering projects and delivering measurable cost savings.\nStrong understanding of product development processes, design validation, engineering change management (ECR/ECN), DFMEA/PFMEA, GD&T, and Design for Manufacturing (DFM).\nExperience developing business cases, cost analysis, ROI evaluations, and project financial justifications.\nWorking knowledge of ERP and PLM systems such as SAP, Windchill, or equivalent.\nUL / ETL Qualification and Regulatory Compliance\nBenefits\nWe offer a competitive total rewards package that may include other benefits and well-being programs.
