Responsible for enhancing commonality and optimization of product and components.\nKey Responsibilities\nAs a Mechanical Engineer, you'll be responsible for:\nManage elements of product development activities including cost estimates, implementation of standard specifications, drawing board layout and interpretation, and development of performance or maintenance requirements.\nExecute test and qualification for systems, sub-systems, and components. Review test results in relation to design or rated specifications and test objectives and modify or adjust equipment to meet specifications.\nEnhance commonality and optimization of product & components.\nTest models of alternate designs and processing methods to assess operating condition effects and necessity of modification.\nProduce parts, specifications, designs, or sketches for machines, components, systems or work orders / purchase requests\nWork with quality clinic and related departments to support the test and verification of field issues.\nRequirements\nWe are looking for people who are analitical and experience dealing with managers and stakeholders. If this is you, get in touch.\nAs a minimum you must have:\nAdvanced English.\nRequires advanced knowledge obtained through a university degree, combined with experience.\nBOM Knowledge.\nPractical to substantial knowledge of Carrier organization, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.\nUniversity Degree or equivalent a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years' experience.\nKnowledge of refrigeration systems.\nReading and interpretation of electrical diagrams.\nAlthough not necessary, it would be nice if you have:\nHVAC background experience. \nBenefits\nWe offer a competitive total rewards package that may include other benefits and well-being programs.
