For more information, visitcorporate.carrier.com or follow Carrier on social media at @Carrier.\nAbout the role\nSupports the design of enterprise-wide business intelligence applications and architecture.\n\nSupports the development of standards, policies and procedures for the form, structure and attributes of business intelligence tools and systems.\n\nProvides support with defining useful analyses to solve problems.\n\nSupports the creation of testing methodologies and criteria as well as developing data/information quality metrics.\n\nProvides support with researching new technologies and developing business cases to support their use.\n\nRole Responsibilities:\nData Pipeline Development:\nDesign, develop, and manage robust ETL/ELT pipelines to process structured and unstructured data efficiently.\nEnsure seamless data ingestion, transformation, and delivery across various systems.\nAWS Glue Expertise:\nDevelop, schedule, and monitor Glue jobs for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).\nWrite and optimize PySpark scripts within Glue for large-scale data processing. Configure Glue crawlers for metadata cataloging and schema discovery.\nTroubleshoot and optimize Glue workflows for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.\nCloud Data Infrastructure:\nBuild and maintain cloud-based data infrastructure using AWS services such as S3, Lambda, and Step Functions.\nAutomate data pipeline workflows using orchestration tools like Step Functions and AWS Glue workflows.\nDatabase Management and SQL Expertise: Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries for data extraction, reporting, and analytics. Administer relational and non-relational databases, ensuring data integrity and availability.\nCollaboration and Communication:\nWork closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand and address data needs.
