This individual will have a unique opportunity to influence technology strategy, drive innovation, and deliver business value through modern software development, cloud technologies, automation, and AI.\nUnlike traditional development roles, this position requires a high degree of autonomy and accountability. The successful candidate will independently manage the end-to-end software development lifecycle for critical business applications, working directly with stakeholders to deliver solutions that support sustainability reporting, analytics, data management, and digital transformation initiatives.\nKey highlights of the role include:\nPrimary ownership of business-critical Sustainability Data Analytics applications and digital platforms.\n\nOpportunity to lead implementation of AI-powered and agentic workflow solutions that improve organizational efficiency.\n\nExposure to enterprise cloud technologies, with AWS as the current platform and future opportunities to support GCP adoption.\n\nDirect engagement with global stakeholders and leadership on high-visibility initiatives.\n\nAbility to influence product direction, solution architecture, and technology strategy.\n\nSignificant opportunity for professional growth in modern application development, cloud architecture, and AI-driven innovation.\n\nJob Responsibility:\nServe as the primary technical owner for Sustainability Data Analytics applications and digital platforms, ensuring reliable operation, enhancement, and long-term scalability.\n\nIndependently design, develop, test, deploy, and support full-stack solutions that address business needs across Sustainability Analytics, Data Management, and Data Governance functions.\n\nOwn end-to-end solution delivery, including requirements gathering, architecture, development, testing, deployment, documentation, user adoption, and ongoing support.\n\nDevelop and maintain cloud-native applications, APIs, and integrations using AWS while supporting the organization's future cloud strategy and adoption of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).\n\nPartner directly with business stakeholders to understand challenges, identify opportunities, and translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.\n\nDesign and implement AI-powered and agentic workflows that automate manual processes, improve productivity, and accelerate business outcomes.\n\nEnsure adherence to software engineering best practices, including application security, performance optimization, code quality, automated testing, and maintainability.\n\nSupport and advance the Sustainability Data Hub vision through development of innovative digital, analytics, and automation solutions.\n\nAct as the technical subject matter expert for assigned platforms and provide guidance on technology strategy, architecture, and platform evolution.\n\nRequirements\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\n\n7+ years of experience in software development, including significant experience building and supporting enterprise applications.\n\n5+ years of full-stack development experience using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and SQL.\n\nStrong hands-on experience designing and supporting cloud-native solutions on AWS.\n\nProven ability to independently own and deliver software solutions from concept through production deployment and support.\n\nExperience gathering requirements directly from business stakeholders and translating them into technical solutions.\n\nExperience developing APIs, integrations, database-driven applications, and automation solutions.\n\nStrong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\n\nDemonstrated ability to work effectively with minimal supervision in a highly autonomous role.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting Sustainability, ESG, Data Analytics, Engineering, or enterprise reporting applications.\n\nExperience building AI-enabled applications, agentic workflows, Generative AI solutions, Microsoft Copilot solutions, or workflow automation platforms.\n\nExperience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or supporting cloud migration initiatives.\n\nExperience with Power BI, Snowflake, data engineering, or data governance solutions.\n\nSolution architecture or technical leadership experience in small, lean teams.\n\nBenefits\nWe offer a competitive total rewards package that may include other benefits and well-being programs.
