This includes driving sales, delivering exceptional customer experiences aligned with the Carrol Boyes brand, leading and developing the store team, and ensuring full compliance with company policies, procedures, and retail standards.\nAs a Store Manager at Carrol Boyes, you are a brand custodian and business leader within the retail operation. You are accountable for sales performance, customer service excellence, people management, stock control, and store presentation, ensuring the store consistently reflects the premium standards of the brand.\nResponsibilities\nSales and Commercial Performance\nDrive store sales to achieve and exceed set targets.\n\nActively lead by example on the sales floor, engaging customers and closing sales.\n\nAnalyse sales reports, trends, and KPIs to identify opportunities for growth.\n\nImplement promotional activities and visual merchandising standards in line with brand guidelines.\n\nCustomer Experience\nEnsure delivery of exceptional, consistent customer service always.\n\nResolve customer queries and complaints professionally and timeously.\n\nMaintain strong floor presence to drive engagement and service standards.\n\nPeople Management and Leadership\nRecruit, onboard, train, and develop store staff.\n\nCreate and manage staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage.\n\nMotivate, coach, and manage performance of the team.\n\nConduct performance discussions and implement corrective action where required.\n\nEnsure adherence to company disciplinary, attendance, and HR policies.\n\nOperational Management\nOversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.\n\nEnsure accurate cash handling, banking, and reconciliation.\n\nMaintain stock integrity through effective stock control, cycle counts, and shrinkage prevention.\n\nEnsure compliance with health, safety, and security requirements.\n\nStock and Inventory Control\nManage stock levels to ensure availability while minimising overstock.\n\nInvestigate and resolve stock discrepancies.\n\nEnsure correct processing of transfers, deliveries, and customer orders.\n\nReporting and Administration\nComplete daily, weekly, and monthly reports accurately and on time.\n\nCommunicate operational challenges and performance updates to management.\n\nMaintain accurate records in line with company procedures.\n\nQualifications and Experience\nMatric/Grade 12 minimum requirement\n\nAdditional qualification an advantage\n\nMinimum 5 years of retail and retail management experience\n\nDemonstrated ability to train employees and be an effective salesperson\n\nStrong customer service, stock management and communication
