As the Head of Engineering, you will own the engineering function end-to-end, from technology strategy and architecture to team building, product delivery, quality and production reliability. This is not a purely managerial role. We are looking for a technology leader who can set the engineering vision while remaining deeply involved in architecture, critical technical decisions, engineering quality and complex product deliveries.\n\nResponsibilities: \nOwn and drive the engineering strategy, architecture and technology roadmap aligned with business goals.\nLead end-to-end product engineering, from concept and design through development, deployment and scale.\nArchitect and build scalable, reliable and transaction-intensive backend systems, APIs and platforms.\nBuild configurable workflows, business rules, integrations and platform capabilities that can support evolving fleet operations.\nBuild, lead, mentor and scale a high-performing engineering team across different technical functions.\nEstablish strong engineering practices around code quality, automated testing, CI/CD, observability and production reliability.\nStrengthen the organisation's QA and Quality Engineering foundation, including automation and release quality.\nDrive practical adoption of AI/ML and Generative AI to solve business problems and create measurable impact.\nMake effective build-vs-buy-vs-integrate decisions across technology, infrastructure and third-party platforms.\nEnsure systems are designed for security, scalability, availability and maintainability.\nPartner closely with Product, Operations and Business teams to translate complex real-world problems into scalable technology solutions.\nRemain hands-on with architecture reviews, critical technical problems and high-impact product deliveries.\nEstablish engineering metrics and processes to continuously improve delivery velocity, reliability and product quality.\n\nRequirements: \n8+ years of experience in software engineering.\n3+ years of experience leading engineering teams.\nProven experience taking major products from concept to production scale.\nStrong technical depth in: Backend Engineering, APIs and Distributed Systems, Databases, Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps and CI/CD, System Architecture.\nHands-on exposure to AI/ML, Generative AI or AI-powered products/workflows.\nStrong understanding of automated testing, QA, observability and production reliability.\nExperience building workflow-heavy, configurable or transaction-intensive platforms.\nStrong problem-solving and architectural thinking with the ability to balance speed, quality and long-term scalability.\nProven ability to hire, mentor and develop strong engineering talent.\nComfortable operating in a fast-paced,
