We’re a team of product engineers who own features end to end, from the interface through to the services behind it.\nThis is a product engineering role with a front-end focus. You’ll spend most of your time building features in React or Angular with TypeScript and Node.js, and you’ll work regularly with our .NET services. It isn’t a design-system or UI-specialist role.\nWhat you'll do\nBuild product features end to end, from React or Angular interfaces in TypeScript to the Node.js services behind them\nWork with our .NET APIs and services, and take on more of the back end as you grow\nTake work from a ticket to production, thinking through the approach before you write the code\nWrite tests as you build, and help keep our code easy to change\nBe involved in all aspects of software engineering practice, including breaking down work, code review, testing, source control and build processes\nWork with product and design to understand the customer problem behind the work\nCreate and enhance team culture by sharing your knowledge and ideas, and by giving and receiving constructive feedback\n What we're looking for\n3+ years of commercial experience building product features in React or Angular with TypeScript\nHands-on experience building and consuming APIs with Node.js\nExperience with back-end services in C#/.NET or Java, and the appetite to work in our .NET services\nA clear problem-solving approach and good testing habits, using tools such as Jest, Vitest or Playwright\nInclusive and interpersonal attributes that connect you to our behaviours: we change the game, we own it, we step in, we are curious, and we don’t take ourselves too seriously\nNice to have\nExperience at an e-commerce or online marketplace business\nDeploying and running services on AWS\nCI/CD and infrastructure as code\nWe know not everyone will meet every requirement, and that’s okay.
