We have fun and make real connections with one another and with the brands we serve. \nThe Role:\nThe Security Guard will be responsible for using protocol to greet facility guests, assigning the proper security badge to each visitor, monitoring the interior and exterior of the facility and reporting any suspicious activity to the local police department immediately. The ideal candidate for this position has a background in security and a professional disposition.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nMonitor all day-to-day activities and ensure all security processes and procedures are being carried out\nWork assigned post orders daily\nGreet and maintain badge system for all visitors\nAnswer the phone during off hours\nProper inspection of building and grounds to ensure safety\nPerform bag inspections on all employees / visitors exiting the facility\nWho You Are:\nYou possess basic computer skills\nAbility to read and write English\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills \nAbility to evaluate circumstances and make timely decisions based on company Post Orders\nYou can work independently and collaboratively\nHigh school graduate/GED\nReliable transportation required\nAbility to work nights and weekends appropriate to facility needs\nWhat You’ve Done:\n2 years of Loss Prevention retail experience required\n\nNice to Haves:\nKnowledge in the operation of CCTV systems\nState Security Guard certification where applicable\nPhysical Demands & Working Conditions:\nAble to withstand moderate physical activity (standing, walking, bending, stooping over, reaching, etc.).\nAble to lift and carry up to 25-30 lbs. on occasion (document boxes, files, binders, and other items)\nAble to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time\nAble to work overtime\nInfrequent/Occasional exposure to adverse conditions such as dust, noise, fumes, weather, poor lighting, or heavy machinery/equipment\nCart.comis an equal opportunity employer.
