The final compensation is negotiable and subject to candidate’s experience and skills.\nWhat You Will Do:\nGather, design, and deploy information, advice, strategies, and actions to effectively earn business revenue and market share from customers in assigned territories and assigned customers\nTravel to meet with assigned customers and assigned conquest customers to solicit machine purchases\nProspect for customers in assigned territory to earn business revenue and increase market share\nMeet or exceed individual targets for units, revenue, and gross profit\nAdhere to the Sales Management Process including UCC reconciliation, lost sale reporting, maintaining established planned activity rate (PAR) and managing the sales funnel\nProvide quotes with credit terms and prepare sales contracts for machine orders\nSubmit accurate expense reports and adhere to company expense policies\nMeet or exceed criteria for Customer Quality Index (CQI) for assigned accounts\nInvestigate and resolve customer issues in a team environment\nProcess machine demos and loaners according to established company policies and procedures\nKeep customers informed as to dates, delays, etc. of each new and used machine sale delivery and follow up on all deliveries within 15 days to establish customer satisfaction\nPrepare territory plan quarterly and review with Regional Sales Manager\nEnsure no accounts are past due more than 60 days without proper action being taken and work with Finance Manager to resolve\nActively participate, as required by management, to help settle all customer disputes within 30 days\nWork with revenue departments with sales of company products, parts and services to assigned customers\nWork in coordination with team to achieve Continuous Improvement goals and objectives\nPerform other related duties as assigned \nWhat We’re Looking For:\nPrevious outside sales experience, required\nBachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field, preferred\nSelf-directed and able to work with limited supervision; capable of developing objectives, setting priorities, and implementing ideas in a timely manner\nExcellent customer satisfaction skills and the ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships\nService existing customers with periodic scheduled visits, and effectively prospect potential new customers\nDevelop and execute effective action plans and handle customer situations to produce results\nEffective negotiating and closing deals\nValid driver’s license\nExcellent driving record\nFrequent travel is required - overnight or out town via car or airplane\nWhat Success Looks Like In This Role:\nInterpreting data and making quick decisions\nInnovation and creativity\nQuick evaluation of facts; good judgment when making decisions\nActive listening with excellent written and verbal communication skills\nCommunicating using a telephone and a computer\nHandling large volumes of work in a fast-paced environment\nOrganization and ability to handle several tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines\nStrong PC skills\nSelf-development and adaptability to changing technology\nPromoting a positive customer experience\nUpholding the Core Values of Integrity, Commitment, Excellence and Teamwork by embracing The Carter Way \nPhysical Requirements:\nRegularly required to stand; walk and talk or hear\nFrequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl\nOccasionally lift and /or move up to 20 pounds\nSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus\nCompetitive Compensation and Benefits:\nHealth, dental and vision insurance\nPaid time off\n401(k), $0.75 to $1.25 match up to 6%\nLife and disability insurance \nIn-house training instructors/programs\nTuition reimbursement\nEmployee referral bonus program\nTool allowances and tool loans\nDiscounts on cellular phone service, computers, and vehicles\nOpportunities for overtime\nShift differential (if applicable)\nYou’ll gain access to real learning, real advancement, and a real future in a company that’s reshaping what it means to lead in our industry.
