Our fleet is primarily day cabs and trailers, all under manufacturer warranty-meaning no major engine overhauls or roadside calls.\nYou'll perform a variety of tasks, with clear pathways for growth:\nRoutine Maintenance & Repair: Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and component replacements on our fleet.\nDiagnostics: Utilize diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot complex electrical, engine, and transmission problems.\nSystem Repairs: Address issues with aftertreatment systems (DEF/emissions), perform regens, and change filters.\nCollaborate & Optimize: Work with your team to maintain accurate records, optimize vehicle performance, and minimize downtime.\nSafety First: Adhere to all safety protocols and industry best practices to ensure our fleet is always DOT compliant.\nWhat We're Looking For\nWe're searching for skilled professionals with a strong background in diesel technology.\nExperience: at least 6 months of experience with Heavy-Duty Class 8 trucks and trailers or similar equipment (e.g., agricultural, construction, waste collection truck).\nTechnical Skills:\nStrong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for diesel engines, transmissions, and vehicle systems.\nProficiency with diagnostic software and using a laptop for manuals.\nExperience with aftertreatment systems and electrical diagnostics.\nComfortable with MIG welding is a plus.\nCertifications & Training:\nA minimum of two ASE Certifications within the first 6 months of employment (we'll reimburse you!).\nT-series ASE Certifications are highly valued.\nRequirements:\nA valid Driver's License with clean driving record\nAbility to perform physical tasks associated with vehicle maintenance (lifting, bending, etc.).\nStrong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.\nA solid attendance record and punctuality are essential for this role.\nAbout Carvana\nAt Carvana, we're on a mission to change the way people buy cars.
