Conduct root cause analysis, develop action plans, and execute with the site leadership team and associates.\nConduct weekly site performance reviews with Senior Reconditioning leadership, reporting on performance versus targets, challenges, and countermeasures.\nGuide daily site manager huddles to establish the day’s tone and priorities.\nAid in the execution of Continuous Improvement projects at home site and, if applicable, throughout the region/network, while implementing and training process changes.\nFoster growth and development in our Reconditioning Lead and Manager populations by supporting Development Plans and providing regular competency-based feedback.\nEmbody Carvana values through effective leadership, teamwork, and communication on the shop floor.\nUphold Carvana operating standards and processes.\nEnsure compliance with all health, safety and loss prevention guidelines.\nWhat the job requires:\nAbility to maintain high volume and high-quality content in a fast-paced environment.\nExperience leading a team of over 50 associates and a track record of developing employees.\nProven ability to solve urgent operational challenges through root cause analysis.\nExcellent communication skills.\n8+ years of management experience either in an automotive or lean manufacturing environment.\nValid unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record in the last 3 years.\nMust be able to read, write, speak and understand English.\nMust be at least 18 years of age.\nRequires standing for extended periods of time with frequent stretching, reaching, walking, stooping, pushing, and/or pulling in an environment that may be cold, hot, noisy, and wet and may have fumes or odors due to vehicle maintenance.\nRequires use of safety equipment that may include but not limited to face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments and equipment.\nAbility to work variable schedule(s) as necessary.\nMust be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently; majority of lifting from knee to shoulder heights; other lifting required from various levels.\nMust be able to walk up to three miles each day.\nOther requirements\nTo be able to do your job at Carvana, there are some basic requirements we want to share with you.\nMust be able to read, write, speak and understand English.\nOf course, we’ll make any reasonable accommodations for those with disabilities to perform the essential functions of their jobs.\nLegal stuff\nHiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
