Some problems will have a clear path forward; others will require investigation, experimentation, and finding a solution where there isn’t an obvious one yet.\nYou’ll work closely with other data, AI, machine learning, and intelligence teams, helping them get reliable access to the data they need. Along the way, you’ll have a real say in technical decisions, engineering standards, and how we evolve our data ecosystem.\nOur mission:\nBuild a scalable and reliable data foundation that enables teams across carVertical to turn data into better products, insights, and decisions.\nIf you want to:\nWork on complex engineering challenges where the right solution isn’t always obvious.\n\nMake technical and architectural decisions that improve the reliability, scalability, and performance of our data platform.\n\nShape engineering standards around testing, code quality, and infrastructure.\n\nSpot technical debt and turn it into meaningful improvements instead of letting it pile up.\n\nSeek for optimizations in infrastructure performance and costs.\n\nLead technical discussions, challenge existing approaches, and help the team find better ways of solving problems.\n\nShare your knowledge and support other engineers in their growth.\n\nCollaborate with Data Department teams to solve dependencies and make data flow smoothly across the organization.\n\nWhat we’re looking for:\nSolid experience building and maintaining production-grade data pipelines and data warehouse solutions.\n\nStrong understanding of data architecture and the ability to design systems that are scalable, reliable, and maintainable.\n\nHands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms, infrastructure and using AI coding assistants and agents in daily engineering work.\n\nExperience with technologies in our stack: BigQuery, AWS, Terraform, dbt, Airflow, Spark and AI agents.
