Our team works in-office time on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.\nWhat You'll Do\nDevelop and maintain reliable backend systems, integrating them with credit card, banking, and merchant platforms for comprehensive workflow chargeback management.\nScale and generalize the system for growth, ensuring it is highly configurable and flexible to reduce the time to go live and support a broad range of use cases.\nArchitect and develop robust architectural patterns for microservices.\nDesign and implement core frameworks and libraries for various backend services, promoting code reuse and maintainability.\nTake ownership of upgrading coding practices, CI/CD pipelines, deployed systems, backend programming languages, and third-party dependencies to enhance system performance and security.\nProactively identify areas for improvement in our platform's infrastructure and systems, implementing optimizations that enhance operational efficiency and product quality.\nOwn the end-to-end development and deployment of key features, including decision-making around technology stack and system design to ensure optimal implementation.\nWhat You’ve Done\nMinimum of 6+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years focused on using Go or Java in production environments.\nDemonstrated experience working on platform teams and contributing significantly to system architecture.\nLed an end-to-end implementation of a key product feature or re-architecture/upgrading of a key platform service.\nExcellent problem-solving skills with a strong understanding of fundamentals, algorithms, data structures, and industry design patterns.\nExperience mentoring junior team members and leading project teams as the sole tech lead.\nStrong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.\nCompensation\nThe base pay range for this role is $170,000 - $250,000 per year.\nCasap's compensation package includes a competitive base salary benchmarked against real-time market data, as well as equity for all full-time roles. We also offer exceptional benefits, as well as bonuses and commission plans for applicable roles. The listed US-based compensation rangeis a guideline and may be modified.
