We have an exceptionally ambitious and kind culture, and we’re just getting started.\nThe Role\nAs an Engineering Manager on the Integrations team, you will lead a team of approximately six to ten engineers building the connections between Casap and the broader financial ecosystem. Your team may work with financial institutions, processors, card networks, data providers, and other partners to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable integrations.\nThis is a frontline management role focused on leading individual contributors. You will be responsible for your team’s people management, technical execution, delivery, and day-to-day operating health. You’ll work closely with Product and cross-functional partners to turn complex and often ambiguous integration requirements into reliable production systems.\nYou’ll remain close to the work-supporting architectural decisions, removing obstacles, improving execution, and giving engineers the context and coaching they need to do their best work.\nWhat You’ll Do\nLead, coach, and develop a team of engineers responsible for business-critical integrations.\nPartner with Product to turn customer and partner needs into clear priorities and executable plans.\nWork with senior engineers to guide architectural decisions involving APIs, data exchange, security, and reliability.\nEstablish strong delivery and operational practices, including testing, monitoring, documentation, and incident response.\nRecruit exceptional engineers and build an inclusive, accountable, and high-performing team.\nWhat You’ve Done\nYou have at least three years of experience directly managing a software engineering team.\nYou’ve developed engineers at different career stages through clear expectations, coaching, and candid feedback.\nYou’ve delivered complex systems where reliability, security, data integrity, or external dependencies mattered.\nYou have the technical foundation to contribute meaningfully to architecture and system-design discussions.\nYou communicate effectively with engineers, senior leaders, cross-functional partners, and external stakeholders.\nEspecially Compelling, but Not Required\nExperience with APIs, enterprise integrations, developer platforms, financial data, payments, disputes, fraud, or risk systems.\nExperience working with financial institutions, processors, card networks, or other external partners.\nExperience leading systems with high standards for uptime, correctness, security, auditability, or regulatory compliance.\nExperience helping a growing company establish stronger engineering and management practices.\nWe care more about your ability to learn quickly, lead an excellent team, and deliver meaningful results than about checking every domain box.\nCompensation\nThe base pay range for this role is $250,000 - $300,000 per year.\nCasap's compensation package includes a competitive base salary benchmarked against real-time market data, as well as equity for all full-time roles. We also offer exceptional benefits, as well as bonuses and commission plans for applicable roles. The listed US-based compensation rangeis a guideline and may be modified.
