Your Role

As Financial Controller, you’ll take on real challenges that bring out your full potential. Your scope includes:

• Lead, coach, and support the accounting team while ensuring timely and accurate financial information.
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Partner with operations, transportation, and sales teams to provide financial insights and support business decisions.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and manage rolling forecasts aligned with business objectives.
• Analyze financial performance, variance trends, risks, and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators and prepare consolidated financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, certifications, and corporate financial policies.

What you bring

You're a natural fit for Financial Controller if you have:

• 6 to 8 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, including 3 to 5 years in a Controller role.
• CPA designation or progress toward certification is considered an asset.
• Strong financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting capabilities.
• Proven ability to analyze complex issues and provide practical business solutions.
• Experience partnering with operational stakeholders and supporting decision-making.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop, coach, and empower team members.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems, with SAP experience considered an asset.
