workplace\nYour Role\nAs Mechanical Reliability Engineer, you’ll take on real challenges that bring out your full potential.\nYour scope includes:\nLead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations on equipment failures and implement sustainable corrective actions.\nAnalyze reliability and maintenance data, including MTBF, MTTR, downtime trends, and failure history, to identify improvement opportunities.\nDevelop and maintain equipment criticality rankings and support bad-actor equipment elimination programs.\nImprove Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) programs using tools such as vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, and other condition-monitoring techniques.\nProvide technical support for mechanical systems including pumps, bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, hydraulic systems, piping systems, and rotating equipment.\nLead and support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and process improvement initiatives from concept through implementation.\nPrepare engineering specifications, scopes of work, cost estimates, and technical documentation.\nPartner with cross-functional teams to improve safety, reliability, product quality, and operational efficiency.\nSupport Lean Manufacturing, Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), and continuous improvement initiatives.\nWhat You Bring\nYou're a natural fit for Mechanical Reliability Engineer if you have:\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.\nMinimum of 3 years of engineering experience in paper manufacturing, industrial processing, pulp and paper, packaging, or a similar industrial environment.\nExperience with equipment reliability, maintenance improvement programs, and industrial mechanical systems.\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills and demonstrated knowledge of reliability engineering principles.\nAbility to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and technical specifications\nKnowledge of RCA, FMEA, RCM, TPM, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma methodologies.\nExperience with SAP or other CMMS platforms.\nProficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar engineering design software\nCategory I or II Vibration Analysis Certification, or equivalent condition-monitoring experience\nCapital project management and contractor oversight experience.\nIf you bring the same care
