Must be available for mandatory on-call rotation \nA full range of benefits: group insurance, telemedicine, and an employer-contributed retirement plan\nProfit sharing and employee share purchase plan - so you can share in our success\nEmployee assistance program, because your physical and mental well-being matters\nReferral bonus - help grow the team and get rewarded\nWhat you’ll do\nAs a Millwright / Mechanic, you’ll be at the heart of operations - right on the floor where materials take shape.\nYour day-to-day:\nDismantle equipment when required for repair or transportation and reassemble it at the appropriate time.\nCandidate will be able to read, understand necessary blueprints and schematics.\nComply with other requests from immediate supervisor.\nProficient in the installation, maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting.\nAbility to work with operations and maintenance on repairs to equipment that include but are not limited to replacement of mechanical seals, installation and alignment of rotating equipment, repairs to fans and blowers, repairs to reciprocating, centrifugal and screw compressors and pumps, basic knowledge of rigging and flagging.\nYour strengths as a Millwright / Mechanic\nMust have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to read and write legibly.\nThe candidate should preferably have at least a 2-year technical degree in Industrial Maintenance / mechanical Engineering/ related degree or Minimum of 2 years related experience.\nMechanical/Industrial or two years of experience in an industrial environment\nRelevant papermill experience in lieu of direct maintenance experience would be considered\nMust have mechanical aptitude.\nSelf-motivated and must work well with others as part of the team as well as independently without supervision.\nMust be able to work at a fast pace, stable under pressure and organized, while staying within safety rules and regulations.\nMust be safety, quality, productivity and teamwork oriented.\nMust be willing and flexible to do overtime for coverage even on short notice.\nMust be willing to participate in team work to do procedures, health and safety work teams, and any other problem-solving projects.\nMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs in a stretching manner.
