Other duties may be assigned:\nAssuring work area is safe.\nPerforming the various skills of assembling a Case knife.\nEmployee must periodically fill out maintenance and/or tool & die requests to ensure all machines and fixtures are within specification to produce a quality knife and help eliminate/reduce scrap.\nEmployee is required to assemble, bracker, and spin all patterns of knives.\nEmployee is required at times to carry trays from the work station to the RS hafting rack and RHC racks.\nEmployee at times may be required to get empty trays from other areas in the factory to take back to the assembly department.\nEmployee is required to clean his or her work area daily at the end of the shift.\nEmployee must maintain adherence to safety initiatives while working in his or her respective area in accordance with standard operating procedures.\nEmployee is required to follow all quality assurance specification to find/prevent any defects such as (chipped or cracked covers, unacceptable center spins, unacceptable brackering, rusty blades, or unacceptable walk & talk).\nResponsible for cleanliness of the work area during and upon his or her completion of jobs.\nTake instructions from supervisors.\nAssist Engineering/Quality departments as needed.\nPhysical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nPhysical Requirements:\nStanding: As required by operation.\nSitting: Able to sit for extended periods in front of equipment.\nMoving: Normal, able to move throughout the department as required by operation.\nLifting: Minimal, up to 35 pounds. Lifting of trays containing knives, and other components.\nPushing/Pulling: As required by operation.\nVisual Acuity: Normal and/or corrected vision for inspection of work /components.\nBending/Stooping: Normal, minimal.\nHand Action: ability to pick up small pins and nails and put numerous parts together to make a knife.\nEDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.\nCompletion of W.R.
