Casteel Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical is looking for a highly organized and customer-focused Dispatcher to join our team!

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour, plus bonus potential

Position Summary

As a Dispatcher, you will play a critical role in coordinating the daily schedules of our HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical technicians. You'll ensure efficient routing, maintain accurate customer records, and serve as a key communication link between customers, technicians, and leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate service calls efficiently
• Receive and prioritize emergency and non-emergency requests
• Dispatch technicians based on availability, location, and skill set
• Manage and maintain the daily dispatch board and technician schedules
• Monitor technician routes and job progress throughout the day
• Prioritize calls based on urgency and customer needs
• Forecast workload and staffing needs 2-3 days in advance
• Communicate job details, traffic updates, and customer requirements to technicians
• Coordinate parts requests with the parts department
• Maintain accurate customer and service records
• Confirm appointments for the following business day

Qualifications

• Previous dispatching or scheduling experience preferred
• Strong computer and data entry skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Customer service mindset with attention to detail
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, home services, or related industries is a plus
