While the initial designs have been completed, you'll take ownership of the products through qualification, production readiness, and full-rate manufacturing.\nThis is an exceptional opportunity for an early-career engineer to gain end-to-end product ownership at a rapidly growing aerospace company. You'll work closely with experienced electrical, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain engineers to transition complex electronics from prototype to production while ensuring reliability, manufacturability, and long-term support.\nAt Castelion, engineers own their hardware throughout its entire lifecycle-from design refinement and qualification through production, field support, and continuous improvement.\nResponsibilities\nServe as the Responsible Engineer for multiple circuit card assemblies (CCAs) supporting flight hardware.\nDrive electronic hardware through design verification, qualification, and production readiness.\nSupport environmental, electrical, and functional qualification testing and document test results.\nPartner with Quality Engineering to establish production metrics, acceptance criteria, and manufacturing quality processes.\nSupport the transition of electronic hardware into Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) and Full Rate Production (FRP).\nInvestigate and resolve manufacturing, production, and supplier issues to ensure uninterrupted hardware delivery.\nCollaborate with component manufacturers and suppliers to address obsolescence, availability, and technical challenges.\nUpdate schematics and documentation to improve manufacturability, reliability, and component availability.\nReview PCB layouts and schematic designs to ensure compliance with design intent and manufacturing best practices.\nSupport root cause investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nWork cross-functionally with electrical, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and integration teams throughout the product lifecycle.\nContribute to process improvements that increase product quality, production efficiency, and hardware reliability.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.\nAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics and PCB layout files.\nExperience modifying schematics using Altium Designer or similar ECAD tools.\nUnderstanding of printed circuit board (PCB) and circuit card assembly (CCA) manufacturing processes.\nFamiliarity with electronic components, power distribution, signal integrity, and circuit design fundamentals.\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.\nPreferred Skills and Experience\nExperience with Cadence Allegro or other PCB design toolsets.\nFamiliarity with IPC standards for PCB and electronics manufacturing.\nExperience supporting design verification, qualification, or environmental testing.\nExperience working with manufacturing, quality, or supplier engineering teams.\nPython programming experience for automation, testing, or data analysis.\nExperience in aerospace, defense, automotive, robotics, or other hardware development environments.\nFamiliarity with configuration management and engineering change processes.\nCastelion offers a generous benefits package.
