We believe focus and technical excellence are decisive advantages - and we are building a team that can deliver real capability, not just concepts.\nThis is a rare opportunity to join at an early stage, where your work will directly shape critical systems, influence major technical decisions, and have immediate, real-world impact.\nElectronic Security Systems Specialist\nThe Electronic Security Systems Specialist on the Physical Security team at Castelion is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electronic security systems and security video management infrastructure. In this role, you will support ACS, CCTV, IDS, and related security technology across multiple facilities while partnering with PhySec, Facilities, IT, and other stakeholders. This position offers the opportunity to directly strengthen Castelion's security posture and support the protection of advanced defense systems.\nResponsibilities\nInstall, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electronic security technology, including ACS, CCTV, IDS, and related platforms.\nPerform job walks, assess installation and redesign requirements, and support vendor scheduling, installation, subcontracting, and commissioning activities for facility security infrastructure.\nProcess work orders and maintain accurate documentation of job status, revisions, material flow, maintenance, and project records.\nFabricate, repair, and assemble hardware and equipment; maintain serviceable tools, materials, and replacement-parts inventory and procure components as needed.\nCollaborate with security and system administrators to develop procedures, train system users, and support the operation of Lenel and Avigilon systems.\nBasic Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalency certificate.\n5+ years of experience working with electronic security systems, such as CCTV, ACS, IDS, fire alarm, or comparable systems.\nAbility to troubleshoot hardware and low-voltage security system components and follow technical documentation, drawings, and floor plans.\nBasic computer skills and ability to use standard business and work-order applications to document work and maintain records.\nAbility to communicate effectively in writing and verbally and work collaboratively with employees, vendors, and other stakeholders.\nPreferred Skills and Experience\n5+ years of experience using scissor lifts, boom lifts, ladders, power tools, hand tools, and calibrated tooling.\nExperience with Lenel access control, Avigilon camera hardware or software, Life Safety Panel hardware, Mercury hardware, and basic low-voltage access control wiring.\nLenel or Avigilon certification; experience with Microsoft Office, Jira, Asana, or similar tools.\nExperience using precision measuring instruments and interpreting system schematics, technical drawings, and floor plans.\nExperience managing multiple priorities and maintaining effective working relationships with department staff, management, vendors, and outside agencies.\nAdditional Requirements\nValid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.\nAbility to work in tight quarters and environments containing varied materials and equipment, lift and move up to 50 pounds or material unassisted, and comfortable working from varied heights\nAbility to work in extreme outdoor conditions, including heat, cold, and rain, and willingness to work extended hours and weekends based on site operational needs.\nMust be able to pass background screening and obtain and maintain any required licenses, permits, or certifications.\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing\nof activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
