You will work closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, Supply Chain, technicians, and program planning to ensure development and production activities are properly prioritized and supported. \nThe ideal candidate has experience creating structure in a fast-moving manufacturing environment and can turn multiple disconnected schedules and requirements into a clear, useful plan for execution and decision-making. \nOutcomes \nEstablish and maintain an integrated manufacturing master schedule for composites connecting development milestones, manufacturing support, material production, and part demand. \nTranslate program demand into executable manufacturing plans for internally produced composite materials and components. \nIdentify resource and capacity constraints early, including engineering, technician, equipment, and process needs. \nEstablish material and consumable planning controls that ensure production readiness while working with Supply Chain on inventory levels and replenishment strategies. \nResponsibilities \nBuild and maintain the master schedule for composites manufacturing activities. \nConsolidate critical milestones and manufacturing requirements from Materials Engineering development schedules. \nTranslate program part demand into material manufacturing and production requirements. \nEstablish priorities and sequencing across competing development and production activities. \nTrack manufacturing capacity, equipment availability, engineering support, and technician loading. \nIdentify resource gaps and provide data to support staffing and capacity decisions. \nForecast raw material and consumable requirements based on planned production. \nWork with Supply Chain to establish minimum inventory levels, reorder points, and replenishment strategies. \nInitially manage and mature the material planning framework until sustainable systems and processes are established. \nTrack schedule risks, shortages, blockers, and changes and drive follow-up with responsible teams. \nProvide clear forward-looking visibility into manufacturing readiness and upcoming resource needs. \nBasic Qualifications \n5+ years of experience in manufacturing planning, production control, operations planning, or a related manufacturing role. \nExperience developing and managing production or manufacturing schedules in a complex environment. \nDemonstrated ability to consolidate multiple schedules, requirements, and constraints into an executable plan. \nExperience with material planning, inventory management, and production readiness. \nStrong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage changing priorities. \nExperience working cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and production teams. \nAbility to operate independently and build processes where limited structure currently exists. \nPreferred Qualifications \nExperience in aerospace, composites, advanced materials, or other complex manufacturing environments. \nExperience supporting both development and production activities within the same manufacturing organization. \nExperience with ERP/MRP, production scheduling, or capacity-planning systems. \nExperience establishing inventory policies, safety stock, minimum quantities, and reorder points. \nExperience performing capacity and workforce planning. \nFamiliarity with manufacturing environments involving internally produced materials feeding downstream part production. \nCastelion offers a generous benefits package.
