This role will focus on closing the gap between required engineering tooling and automated processes across the software lifecycle.\nYou will design and implement CI/CD workflows, integrate software pipelines with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing environments, and improve the reliability and efficiency of our development infrastructure. This role is ideal for engineers with backgrounds in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) who enjoy working close to both software and hardware teams to streamline complex engineering workflows.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, build, and maintain CI pipelines to support rapid and reliable software development and testing\nIntegrate CI workflows with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and automated test environments\nImprove automation across build, test, deployment, and release processes\nDesign and manage development infrastructure supporting engineering teams\nMaintain and improve containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes\nSupport hybrid infrastructure across on-premise systems, lab environments, and cloud services\nImplement and maintain tooling that supports embedded software, robotics, and simulation workflows\nIntegrate build systems, artifact management, and test frameworks into automated pipelines\nWork closely with software, simulation, and hardware teams to remove bottlenecks in engineering workflows\nImprove reliability, monitoring, and observability of internal development platforms\nImplement monitoring and telemetry solutions using tools such as Grafana\nDiagnose and resolve infrastructure, networking, and performance issues\nEnforce secure development and infrastructure practices\nManage access controls, secrets management, and system configuration across environments\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field\n7+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering\nStrong experience administering Linux-based systems\nProficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell\nExperience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar)\nHands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)\nStrong understanding of Git and modern software development workflows\nExperience troubleshooting infrastructure, networking, and build system issues\nCastelion offers a generous benefits package.
