This is a contract role supporting high-impact hiring initiatives across engineering, manufacturing, and corporate functions. While onsite at our Torrance, CA headquarters is preferred, we are open to hybrid or remote arrangements for the right candidate.\nYou will work closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and HR leadership to source and attract candidates in highly competitive markets. Success in this role requires experience in hardware companies or high-growth startup environments, as well as creativity, persistence, and the ability to quickly understand specialized technical skill sets.\nThis role is flexible with a preference for onsite support at our Torrance, CA headquarters, though hybrid arrangements are possible. This is a 6-month contract with the potential to extend based on performance. High-performing contractors may also be considered for full-time opportunities.\nResponsibilities\nConduct targeted sourcing to identify qualified candidates for hard-to-fill engineering, hardware, and corporate roles\nUtilize LinkedIn, GitHub, personal networks, industry forums, and other platforms to engage passive talent\nPartner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements and key candidate attributes\nMaintain organized candidate pipelines and provide regular updates to the recruiting team\nSupport outreach campaigns and initial candidate engagement, including phone/email touchpoints\nContribute to employer branding initiatives by highlighting Castelion's mission, culture, and growth opportunities\nTrack sourcing metrics and provide insights to improve strategies and outcomes\nBasic Qualifications\n3+ years of recruiting or sourcing experience, preferably in hardware companies, defense, or high-growth startup environments\nStrong experience leveraging LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools\nExcellent research, organizational, and communication skills\nProven ability to identify and engage passive candidates\nComfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment\nPreferred Skills and Experience\nFamiliarity with technical roles such as mechanical, electrical, or software engineering\nExperience supporting recruiting for scaling hardware teams in early-stage startups\nStrong understanding of the candidate market, competitive landscape, and sourcing best practices\nAbility to craft compelling messaging for passive candidates\nCastelion offers a generous benefits package.
