As an innovative challenger bank, we combine specialist lending expertise with a customer-first approach to deliver outstanding outcomes for our customers, brokers and partners.\nThe role and what you’ll be doing\nWe’re looking for a commercially minded Product Proposition Manager to work with the Commercial Director to continue to develop our Property product proposition.\nYou’ll combine market insight, product expertise and performance analytics to shape products that support business growth, deliver strong customer outcomes and remain aligned with our governance standards. This is an influential role working across Commercial, Treasury, Data, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Project and IT teams, with regular exposure to senior stakeholders.\nThis role based in our Basingstoke office on a hybrid basis working 4 days in the office and 1 day at home.\nProposition & Product Management\nDeliver the Property product proposition, including product design, oversight and the development of new products.\nMonitor existing products, product structures and pricing requirements throughout the product lifecycle.\nEnsure activity complies with the Bank’s new product, product governance and monitoring policies and standards.\nMarket Strategy & Commercial Growth\nBuild a strong understanding of the mortgage market, competitive landscape, growth opportunities, innovation, regulatory change and emerging risks.\nIdentify and deliver opportunities to diversify revenue and improve margin.\nPerformance, Pricing & Insight\nMonitor the performance forecasting and analytics, working closely with Treasury and Data teams.\nMonitor business and product performance, translating insight into clear actions and recommendations.\nProvide regular reporting on mortgage pricing and performance to Senior management\nRelationships & Collaboration\nBuild strong, collaborative relationships with brokers and other key partners.\nWork effectively across Commercial, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Project and IT teams to turn insight and requirements into deliverable propositions.\nWhat you’ll bring\nYou’ll bring strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking and a detailed understanding of the mortgage lending market.\nYou’ll be comfortable combining market intelligence, customer and broker feedback, internal priorities and performance data to shape propositions that deliver measurable business benefit.\nEssential\nStrong business skills and commercial acumen, supported by advanced strategic thinking.\nA strong understanding of the UK specialist mortgage lending market.\nProven product management and/or product development experience, with evidence of business benefit.\nExperience translating multiple information sources into clear requirements, including market intelligence, customer feedback, broker or retailer feedback and internal needs.\nStrong proposition development capability and an understanding of the full product lifecycle.\nThe ability to work effectively across commercial, marketing, operations, finance, project and technology teams.\nExperience working within a regulated credit environment.\nEffective presentation, communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.\nHigh attention to detail and consistently high-quality standards.\nWhy join Castle Trust Bank?\nCompetitive salary\nPerformance bonus (based on individual and company performance)\nGenerous contributory pension through Hargreaves Lansdown\nLife Assurance\n25 days’ holiday + option to buy/sell 5 days\nAdditional paid volunteering day\nPrivate healthcare through Bupa \nFree access to BHSF Rise EAP to support colleague health and wellbeing\nGym discounts\nSeason ticket travel loans (if applicable)\nA supportive, inclusive culture where your work has real impact\nCaught your attention?
