The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including creating freight purchase orders for import and export shipments, processing requests for quotes and purchase requests, and negotiating with suppliers on pricing and terms.\nReview and process incoming inquiries and purchase requests, sending inquiries to relevant suppliers and vendors.\n\nPrepare comparisons of received quotes and make recommendations to requestors, engaging in negotiations as needed.\n\nGenerate purchase orders in the system upon approval, and follow up with suppliers on order acknowledgements and delivery updates.\n\nCoordinate shipping instructions with suppliers and liaise with logistics for urgent shipments or any delays.\n\nCollaborate with the logistics department to review shipping documents and ensure proper documentation is saved for reference.\n\nUpdate the system with shipping details upon receipt of goods, informing requestors and attaching relevant documents.\n\nAssist the accounting department with invoice discrepancies and vendor payment issues, including updating bank details as necessary.\n\nMonitor advance payments for third-party suppliers and prepare regular reports on open purchase orders, shipments, and payment lists.\n\nProvide updated pricing and stock availability information to production and sales departments, as well as maintaining vendor and customer records in the system.\n\nSupport team members during absences and contribute to the overall efficiency of the purchasing process.\n\nIf you are a proactive and organized professional with a strong understanding of international procurement processes, we invite you to apply for this challenging and rewarding role.
