The role works closely with internal teams, auditors, and external advisers, and suits a detail-oriented experienced professional with strong analytical and communication skills and public company reporting experience, ideally in shipping.\nReports to: Reporting Manager\nKey Responsibilities\nEngaged in the control and review of financial reporting for the Group’s US-listed companies\nPreparation of the quarterly and annual financial statements for the Group’s US-listed companies\nPreparation of the annual 20-F reports and the quarterly and interim 6-K filings for the Group’s US-listed companies\nCommunication with other departments regarding the annual 20-F reports and the quarterly and interim 6-K filings of the Group’s US-listed companies\nSupporting the annual audit process and quarterly review process for the Group’s US-listed companies\nPerforming US GAAP technical accounting research, including analysis of accounting treatments, preparation of technical accounting memos, and advising accounting teams on the application of US GAAP, for the Group’s US-listed companies\nEngaged in the review of all companies’ US GAAP financial statements and interim and annual filings\nPreparation of the quarterly management reports for the Group’s US-listed companies\nSupporting financial reporting input for capital market and other transactions for the Group’s US-listed companies\nSupporting the annual SOX compliance and ad hoc projects on internal control projects for the Group’s US- listed companies\nOther ad hoc projects relating to the Group’s reporting function\nRequirements\nRequired\n· Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent from a recognized University\n· Professional certification (ACCA, CPA or equivalent) either completed or at an advanced stage\n· Minimum 5 years of experience in a Big Four audit firm with expertise in shipping and exposure to US listed clients and/or in a financial reporting role in shipping industry in US listed companies\n· Solid knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements and familiarity with SOX 404 / internal control over financial reporting\n· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)\n· Professional fluency in written and spoken English\n· Strong organizational skills, proactive follow-up mindset, and ability to multitask effectively in a high-tempo environment\n· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail\nPreferred\n· Experience with Disclosure Management tools\n· Familiarity with maritime ERP software (Benefit, or equivalent)\n· German language skills are considered an advantage\nBenefits\nCompetitive salary, plus annual discretionary bonus performance related\nCoverage under the company's collective Life, Health & Dental insurance plan\nDaily catered lunch -
