This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role based in Athens, reporting to the AI & Analytics Manager. You'll work directly with business teams to understand their problems, build the AI applications and analytics products that solve them, and support AI adoption across the company.\nMAIN RESPONSIBILITIES\nAI Application Development\nBuild production AI solutions for real-world problems, that reduce manual work and measurably improve decision speed across business functions\nCollaborate with business teams to understand needs and requirements and develop AI solutions.\nImplement evaluation and observability tooling to monitor AI application quality in production\nEvaluate external AI and data products through structured assessment\nSupport AI adoption across the company through prompt libraries, documentation, and training\nData & Analytics\nTranslate business questions into KPIs, analyses and self-service analytics covering areas such as fleet performance, asset acquisition and financial metrics.\nHelp define and evolve the data foundation - from source systems through to the analytics and AI layers - so data stays well-structured and trustworthy\nCollaboration & Adoption\nWork with stakeholders across departments to understand problems before proposing solutions\nCommunicate analytical outputs and AI capabilities clearly to non-technical audiences\nRequirements\nSKILLS & EXPERIENCE\nRequired\nDegree in computer science, data science, engineering, physics or a related field\n3-7 years of relevant professional experience\nStrong Python and/or SQL skills\nHands-on experience building with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google), including RAG and prompt design/evaluation\nAbility to translate business problems into analytical or AI-enabled solutions\nFamiliarity with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau\nNice to Have\nAgentic AI frameworks and multi-agent orchestration\nBasic understanding of data modeling concepts and databases/data warehouses\nData governance, responsible AI, or LLMOps experience\nAgile, proactive, and eager to learn new tools and technologies\nFamiliarity with the maritime industry\nWHO YOU ARE\nYou think in concepts first, tools second\nYou take full ownership from problem definition through user adoption\nYou approach AI with healthy skepticism -
